We have gone through our lists of top 12 NFL bobbleheads by position, now we will begin to go through the top 10 by team. We will now talk about the Arizona Cardinals, who have had a long and storied history. Actually starting as the Morgan Athletic Club in 1898, the Cardinals are the longest continuously run professional football team in the United States.
The Morgan Athletic Club began in Southside Chicago and was incorporated into the NFL as one of the only 2 of the NFL’s charter franchises still in the NFL (Green Bay was technically an independent team until 1921).
Since then they have traveled to St. Louis and then to Pheonix, before settling down in Glendale, Arizona. Although the franchise was the first to lose 700 games, there have been some bright spots throughout the years, although it has been 72 years since their last NFL title making it the longest streak in the United States 4 major sports. If you have any comments or somebody you think deserved to be on the list please leave those in the comment section at the bottom!

Larry Fitzgerald – Wide Receiver 2004 – present
One of the greatest wide receivers of all-time, Fitzgerald is coming back for yet another season in 2020. Already second in NFL history in receptions and receiving yards, and 6th in receiving touchdowns, Larry Fitzgerald is a lock to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer.
Kyler Murray – Quarterback 2019 – present
The number 1 overall draft pick of the 2019 draft has breathed life into a franchise that has been stuck in mediocrity since reaching the Super Bowl after the 2008 season. Although finishing the season with yet another losing record, at 5-10-1, they were much more competitive than in previous seasons, and hopefully will continue to grow with Murray at the helm.
Kurt Warner – Quarterback 1998 – 2009
Although Warner is more well known as the quarterback that led the “Greatest Show on Turf” to multiple Super Bowl appearances and winning one, he finished his career with the Arizona Cardinals, helping them reach their only Super Bowl appearance, coming up just short to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Emmitt Smith – Running Back 1990 – 2004
Obviously known for his time with the Dallas Cowboys, in which he became the NFL’s all-time rushing leader and won 3 Super Bowl’s, he did finish his career with 2 seasons with the Arizona Cardinals.
David Johnson – Running Back 2015 – present
Johnson has been a bell-cow back since being drafted by the Cardinals in the third round of the 2015 draft out of Northern Iowa. In 2016 he had 15 straight games with at least 100 yards from scrimmage, matching Barry Sanders record from 1997.
The Arizona Cardinals have had a long history, and their future looks bright with new playmakers such as Johnson and Murray. What players do you want to see bobbleheads of? Let me know in the comments below!
