Great post. I’m still playing some kids from time to time at my age. My favorite is the jumpSport 14 Elite basketball package. Even though it is quite expensive . The game just remind me my childhood. I hope you will write an article about educative game. I have two children and I’m still about what educative game should I buy for them. The ones I bought seem not to be effective
Thank you for the suggestion, I will definitely look into that for a post. There are other options under the JumpSport 14 Elite basketball goal if you are looking for a more cost effective option, or if you have younger kids and looking for a smaller goal. Let me know if you have any questions or trouble finding something.
Wow great article,
Look like GoSports Football Training Target Net is suitable for my twins.they are 11 years old and very active. there have 2 footballs.so they will not fight for sharing football.
Cloth Inflatable Soccer Darts Board is another great item to practice the target.
Thank you for sharing valuable content at the right time. I will definitely come back here to find more sports. Keep up the good work!!
I am glad these could help out! I have 2 boys that are close in age, so I am well aware of the battle! These are perfect for them because I am sure your boys are competitive, and they could turn that into a game while working on their athleticism as well!
hi there
Great list of sports games for kids I really loved the reading!
My sister’s son loves sport, and he is going to be ten years old, so I thought I would buy him a nice present for his birthday. I really like the tumbling timbers game. It seems to be smartly made and easy to use. Since he loves colors, I would like to know if this game is available in several colors? or it only exists in beige?
Thank you for this useful post and looking forward to hearing from you
Excellent question, yes if you go to the page there are other options on Amazon at the bottom of the tumblers page, many of which or very colorful. Thank you for checking these out!
Hi Travis. It is a presentation of some very informative children’s games. But do I understand that your children are boys? These games seem to me only for boys. They are very good because they involve movement, so that children consume their overflowing energy. Maybe just JumpSport 14 ′ Elite Basketball Package would be suitable for girls too, I think.
I do have 3 boys, but a very active daughter as well though. She plays all sports with her brothers so I can attest that your daughter can play any of these as well! Thank you for your suggestion!
I’m a very sporty person and I love engaging my children in it, the fact that they developed interest in sport made it all very easy and enthusiastic for them to cope well. These games are very nice and interesting to play, and will also help kids intellectually ad physically. I’ll show this to my kids and see which and which they’ll love to buy. Thanks for this useful information.
I am glad you found it useful! There are lots of fun things that they can enjoy, and you don’t have to stand on the sidelines either! Get out there and show them how it’s done! 🙂
I love the elite basketball package! It looks like so much fun, not just for kids, but also for adults! How about having that in your afternoon get together with neighbors and friends? 😉 And I love playing darts. I used to play darts when I was a kid, I enjoyed it very much. And I still do.
Although these are certainly fun games for kids, and I will recommend them to my friends who have children, these are also great for the adults who still have a kid inside themselves. I know that I would love to try a few of them 😉
I agree, my boys always want me to play with them, and although I’m not quite as athletic as I was when I was younger it’s still fun to get out there with them! Hope you enjoy!
Hello; reading through your post let me feel like under fifteen again. The backyard basketball court has me looking back on those years. If I get the chance I will certainly play basketball now. The 6×6 football training kit is a good fit for my children’s outdoors activity.
Would you suggest that the over 50 years old involves playing these games?
Dorcas
These games may be geared towards kids but there’s no age limit! I remember playing basketball with my grandfather when I was young, one of my favorite memories! Trust me, your kids would love to play with you!
Wow, some great and novel ideas that you have come up with for some fun sports games for the kids (and maybe adults too I have a feeling). There are several that I know I would play with the kids or grandkids, not sure if they would invite me, but it could be worth a shot (no pun intended).
What I like about all these games is that they will get the kids away from their phones and back into social interactions and outdoors too. This cannot be a bad thing, and the exercise they will get while playing is also not a bad thing for them. You have provided some good options for the Christmas shopping season, and I thank you for that!
Do you know if these games are able to be shipped overseas (or internationally may be the better term)? I would like to have them sent to Germany where the grandkids are. I have not seen any of these games there, and I am sure even the neighbors will want to play with any of them. The one I will go with is the “e Soccer Darts Board” (hey this is Germany, right?).
All of these are backed through Amazon so yes they would ship all around the world. I agree whole heartedly, I have kids that would play on their tablets all day long if I didn’t make them go outside! Thank you for stopping by!
Hi Travis. Thanks for sharing these fun sports games for kids. You did really well in the selection of the items. These items will help give our kids and even us hours of endless fun and entertainment.
Although I don’t have any of these in my house; I’m glad we have access to JumpSport 14′ Elite Basketball Package not very far from home.
It’s very nice to have access to a nice basketball hoop, kids love to shoot hoops and can give them hours of fun!
This is great! Thank you so much for sharing these recommendations. Though I don’t have any children myself, I spend a lot of time watching children that belong to friends and family. As summer sneaks its way around the corner, I will definitely keep some of these activities in mind. The Giant Wood Tumbling Towers look like a “Giant” amount of fun! (Pun fully intended!)
I fully appreciated the pun! These would be great for the kids to enjoy when they come over!
I really loved to read your article today, it gave me good ideas of things to do with my grandson, as he is 9 years old and he’s active, he’s always asking me to do something fun with him.
He loves soccer and I think he would love to get the inflatable Soccer darts board, as his birthday is in early March, I think it’s a good time to order it, my grandson will have lots of fun with it.
That would be an excellent idea, 9 year olds seem to have a lot more energy than I do these days! I hope he enjoys it!
Hello Travis, I must say that this article is very helpful and informative. I am glad I stumbled upon your text because I was looking to find something interesting for my kids. I have two boys and they are really hyperactive, your recommendations are great, it will definitely keep them occupied. Thanks for sharing.
They will love these! I just got a trampoline for my boys and they are outside every day it gets nice enough!
